Resume

I like building software for messy human problems, usually somewhere between product, engineering, and research.

Work

Co-founder

Musa Guide

October 2024 to present

Museums hold some of the world's most trusted knowledge, yet visitors increasingly sidestep the institution and ask general AI assistants directly, as our research shows. We founded Musa to put cultural institutions back in the loop, with conversational guides grounded in curatorial knowledge that also reveal previously inaccessible patterns in visitor interests and behaviour, allowing institutions to improve the experience over time.

I work across product, engineering, and sales. On the technical side, that has meant teaching the guide to understand physical space, grounding it in collections spanning hundreds of thousands of objects, and integrating everything from film and 360-degree imagery to immersive sound into conversations.

Musa is live across three continents, guiding visitors through ancient Maya sites in Guatemala, parks in Canada, Expressionist art in Austria, and architecture in Spain. In 2025, it won blooloop's Guest Journey of the Year award.

Founding engineer

Behaviour Lab

June 2022 to August 2024

At Behaviour Lab, I helped turn behavioural science into software for equity investors. We looked inward, finding alpha in the fund's own decision process rather than in the market. I owned the data layer, from integrating different client systems to building efficient analytics over investment time series. I later led our forward-deployed team, working directly with investment teams to turn behavioural methodologies and client-specific processes into usable software, while carrying the lessons from each deployment back into the core product.

Software engineering intern

Porsche, Weissach

June to September 2019

At Porsche's Weissach research campus, I built a multi-factor authentication system that recognised drivers as they approached a car. It began as an internship experiment, became Porsche's demonstration at the Startup Autobahn conference, and eventually entered the roadmap for the company's early electric vehicle fleet in 2020.

Education

MEng Electronic and Information Engineering

Imperial College London

2018 to 2022, first-class honours

My thesis used machine learning and LinkedIn language to predict patterns in social judgement and received 83%. Along the way I built a C-to-assembly compiler, a MIPS CPU simulator, and a multi-agent systems simulator.
